So com.google.protobuf.protobuf-gradle-plugin (= 0.8.8-1) would work,
perhaps com.google.protobuf-gradle-plugin, and the other could be
renamed to ws.antonov.gradle.plugins.gradle-plugin-protobuf or maybe
ws.antonov.gradle-plugin-protobuf but…
