Re: Enabling jaw (Java-atk-wrapper) by default ? (Bug#900912)

Disabling it only through accessibility.properties means we have no control over it from JOSM. So when the next bug appears, we'll have to tell all of our impacted Ubuntu users to modify the file. It's cumbersome for us, and for them. I would prefer a runtime flag we can set in josm launcher. I don't want to experience major issues like https://josm.openstreetmap.de/ticket/12022 and https://josm.openstreetmap.de/ticket/16666 again.

It has always been available in
/etc/java-11-openjdk/accessibility.properties

Is there no way for blind people to use JOSM?

Yes, the bug reports eventually reached me, and I fixed the issues I was
aware of.
