jh_exec strangeness : doing chmod -x?

Hi,

I'm not familiar with perl but the rewrite[1] of jh_exec reads "chmod
-x" while the tool is expected to make some jars executable. My
debhelper log shows "chmod -x" while I would expect "chmod +x".

This seems too obvious to be the culprit of my package build broken
but I felt like asking. Am I missing something?
