Hi Emmanuel,

Thanks for the reference - we should use that to inform our decisions
about target levels (which should probably be prescribed by Java policy)
and choice of default-jdk.

I just wanted to point out that we still have ports for which the
default-jdk is 1.5 (gcj-jdk).  It looks like for ant-based systems, the
javac task might take care of setting this source and target values, but
I haven't tried it.
