the build in experimental didn't go completely well on most of the architectures [1],
I made some changes that should fix at least some of the issues. Could you please upload
current master-3.8 from git?

Nothing new in this area that I know about. I did't package SWT 3.8 RC3 as there
are only minor changes in javadocs and localization. Most probably I won't make any
updates to this package until the final release.
If 3.8.0~rc3-2 builds on something more than i386 and amd64, I think we can go
for sid upload, it's almost sure that anything big won't happen in upstream before
Juno final.
