If you are running Gnome and have most of the development libraries installed, your experience may be less cumbersome than mine. I have catalogued the full process on the bug report thread for this issue on the Eclipse bug tracking site[0]. ~ I was able to build a sample project, compile and run it without issue. On a 500MHz TiBook with only 512MB RAM it actually ran pretty well. I have attached screenshots, but I am not sure if it will be stripped by the list application. I will be coppying all of my existing Eclipse 3.01 projects over to test them tomorrow.
