Don't know what is the method you have used to build, but I tried to
build eclipse from sources...

Yep, I had a lot of these errors. I went to the relevant build.xml file,
commented the code and do what the task should do (if I recall it was
because of a chmod or something)

After a lot of tries, Eclipse did build... but without javadoc which
seems badly broken on ibm's jdk.

So What to do?

I noticed that only the swt bindings are natives (and the launcher), so
I did try to build the bindings (it's explain in the faq[1]). The
launcher could be skipped by a normal java launching line[2]... I can
run Eclipse, but can't do a lot more[3]...
