This is not acceptable for Debian, see the DFSG#8: "License Must Not Be
Specific to Debian"[1]

Good idea. Also, when building a debian package, it's preferable to
patch the build.xml file, not to modify it and then make your
.orig.tar.gz. The .orig tarball must be as close as the original one
(but you can remove libraries and documentations, everything you will
generate), but do not modify any file in it.

No, but you can have debian informations on #debian-devel or on
#debian-mentors, also, if you xant to meet some free-java developers,
they meet on #classpath, #sablevm and #kaffe.
