What version of gtk libs do you have? It would also be nice, if you
could try to recompile libswt-java.

That seems like a upstream issue :( There were some problems
with gtk and progress bar and I'm not sure how far they got to sort
that out. https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=32204
A lot of problems came with the RedHat default Gnome theme
(bluecurve or so). 

It would be nice if you could check bugs.eclipse.org about this
problem and report a bug there, if you can't find any. Feel free to
add a bug to libswt-java as well... :)
