It's really not sure (unfortunatelly) if we can use kaffe
with Apache-licensed code. As FSF states it - we can't.
Search kaffe archives if you want more info.
Don't know about too much gcj (or rather gij - it's JVM ?)

Yup, I remember. I hope that it will be possible to use sablevm with
ant (and with it's dependencies) in not too distant future.
Will keep you informed of the progress.

Yes, I have it packaged.

No - sablevm and ftpmasters problem has nothing to do with it.

gjdoc should work with other JVMs too.

The package can be found at http://debian.sente.pl/debian/ , but
it's just a snapshot of what I currently have.
It has a number of strange things in it (like depend on sablevm
instead of java-virtual-machine), there were other things
to be sorted out, like where does com.sun.javadoc belongs?
To GNU Classpath project or to CP-tools project?
They were to be moved to the latter.

Lately Mark Howard <mh@tildemh.com> asked me about those package
and it seems he is intending to give it some love ;-)

Oh - and gjdoc is said to be still alpha quality, but I hope
to get it working with at least some apps. The upstream haven't
done any release yet and so they weren't receiving too many
bugreports. I belive this will change once we put gjdoc
into Debian - which hopefully should speed up the development too ;-)

PS: BTW: SableVM has just hit the archive - enjoy ;-) and report bugs.
