Eclipse 2.0 on Debian (unstable?) with GTK

Has anyone been able to get Eclipse 2.0 to run on Debian? I get the attached
exception.

I assume they are compiling against some version of pango but I have NO idea
which one. A google search for FT_Stream_GetShort returns nothing.

I would compile from source but the Eclipse people don't seem to know how to
organize an OSS project.

There are no CVS instructions, build from source INSTALL document, or dependency
issue documentation.

Anyway... seems cool but I will NOT use the Motif version.
