tomcat not finding jsps

Hi, this is my first experience with tomcat and I'm running into
problems. The server starts fine, and I can access the example servlets
(HelloWorld, etc.). However, when I try one of the example jsps, I get a
404 error. This is what appears in the log:

I'm using the debian package in testing (tomcat 3.3-2) with j2sdk1.3
from blackdown.org (also their prepackaged deb). The rest is the stuff
in testing.

What am I doing wrong? TIA
