Yes, but it does not seem to be documented (in README.Debian, for instance). 
Consider this as a "wishlist" :-) and is not obvious at first glance.

Also, it can disturb another compiler (one of the important goals of the Java 
policy is to allow developers to switch easily and rapidly between compilers) 
if it finds these classes before its own.
