I can view it correctly with a browser (or other graphical applications), but unfortunately not in my terminal emulator (UXTerm)... I have never figured out how to obtain East Asian font support in UXTerm: I am unfortunately very ignorant about this topic, I have to study more! ;-) My current UXTerm setup is described on my website: http://www.inventati.org/frx/doc/nanodocs/testing_workstation_desktopconf.html#terminal-emulator-configuration Adding UXTerm*wideFont: -misc-fixed-medium-*-*-ja-18-*-*-*-*-*-iso10646-* to my ~/.Xresources file (as written in this old document http://www.maruko.ca/i18n/ ) seems to help a lot, even though I am not completely satisfied with the result. Do you (or does anyone else on the debian-japanese list) have a better suggestion?
