At first, you will have to logout and login after "set-language-env"
so that new .Xresources, .bashrc and .xsession will be active.

Next, you don't have to invoke kinput2 by your hand because
.xsession invokes it for you.  Invoking kinput2 twice might
cause problems.

Please check LANG, LC_CTYPE, and LC_ALL variables.  The standard
setting by set-language-env is LANG=ja_JP.eucJP and LC_CTYPE and
LC_ALL are not set.  Please also check XMODIFIERS variable, which
should be XMODIFIERS=@im=kinput2 .

Please push CTRL key and right button of mouse.  Read the manpage
for detail.

However, you don't need menu to _use_ XIM.  You will need menu to
_switch_ XIM.

To invoke XIM, push SHIFT + SPACE in the mlterm window.
