 Check your FontPath in XF86Config. When xfs or xfs-xtt does not work
your environment, you should remove Font server font path like this:

 FontPath "unix:/7100"

 Or if you install additiona fonts (not included in xfree86, for
example xfont-shinonome), you should instal xutils perhaps. If not
fonts.dir does not generate correctly.

 If a directory does not exist or not contains fonts.dir in it,
would remove it from fontpath.
