Testing (kernel > 3.10) su PowerBook G4 PowerPC
Salve a tutti,
c'e` qualcuno che ha mai installato la Debian Jessie su macchine PowerPc
Apple?
Ho sottomano un portatile powerbook g4 @ 1.5Ghz con 2Gb RAM e HD da
160Gb con radeon G350 (su scheda madre) con display 1280x854.
Ero riuscito ad installare Wheezy (in realta` era MintPPC) ma aveva dei
problemini su vari fronti.
Non parliamo poi di Ubuntu 14.04 Server e/o Lubuntu 14.04. Senza xorg o
che si pianta mentre apro una pagina web, ecc.,..
Volevo sapere se con jessie si puo` sperare di avere un kernel con DKMS
(senza framebuffer == lentissimo) e magari il driver Xorg radeon
accelerato... (ah, so mettere le mani su yaboot)! Chiedo troppo?
Le mie figlie vorrebbero vedere alcuni cartoni animati (Xvid 640x480) da
chiavetta USB prima di andare a nanna... (3 e 5 anni)
