Errore hd sata linux 2.6.22

Ciao a tutti,

è da poco che ho riscontrato il seguente noiosissimo errore che rallenta
parecchio il computer che non so come risolvere:

quando compare questo errore il sistema sembra bloccato e non posso fare
nessuna operazione, dopo alcuni secondi ricomincia a funzionare per poi
ribloccarsi alla stessa maniera

Nello stesso computer ho un'altro hard disk normale ata con windows
installato e questo non da problemi (dello stesso tipo)

come posso risolvere?
per favore non mi dite che mi si è sfasciato l'hd sata
