Etch e perl CPAN

Salve a tutti,
su una Debian Etch non riesco ad installare i seguenti moduli perl:
Net::DNS
Digest::SHA1
Digest::Nilsimsa
Bit::Vector
Date::Calc
Unix::Syslog
Convert::UUlib
Time::HiRes
Dalla consolle cpan (perl -MCPAN -e shell).
Gli errori sono sulle librerie (penso).
Questo è parte dell'output del comando "install Digest::SHA1":

Can't test without successful make
Running make install
make had returned bad status, install seems impossible
Da cosa dipende? Per altri moduli non ho avuto problemi.
