Re: wi-fi va e non va era [modulo ipw2200 che si carica a "giorni alterni"]



Un saluto a tutta la lista.
Scusate se invado di nuovo la lista ma ho il "mal di testa" a forza di
"sbattere" su questo problema.
Allora:
Ho una Debian/Etch con kernel 2.6.18-3-i686
Al momento dell'istallazione il wi-fi non funzionava. Ho installato il
modulo preso dal reposity "contrib".
Ho scaricato il "firmware 3.0" dal sito.
Ho seguito alla lettera le idicazioni dell'amico su,
http://www.redstarlabs.org/2006/11/21/intel-pro-wireless-ipw2200-su-debian-unstable/
ma il wi-fi funziona a "giorni alterni".
Ho provato a postare su "google" la sequenza dell'errore, come avevo
gia' fatto in precedenza ma niente :-(
Io mi sto studiando i vari "dmesg" e li confronto con il comando "diff"
ma non ne vengo a capo.
Ho notato che funziona, non sempre ma il piu' delle volte, quando e
"spento" l'interuttore posto a lato del portatile e, naturalmente, non
riesce a fare nessuna connessione, "accendo" l'interuttore ma niente.
Una sola volta, di quelle buone, accendendo l'interuttore e' partita la
ricerca automatica. Per il resto e' "lotto" :-)
Sapessi almeno dove guardare :-)
Nelle ricerche sono finito anche in Giappone dove la lingua mi
totalmente ostica :-)
Beh! per chi volesse metto in allegato i "dmesg" di quando funziona e no
per non intasare gia' questa lunga lettera.
