Intersil Corporation Intersil ISL3890



Evito di inserire "kubuntu" nel soggetto anche se è questo il sistema su cui 
vorrei far funzionare questa scheda Wi-fi PCI, vi prego ragazzi, sò che 
questa è Debian Italian List, non ditemi di sottoporre il quesito su una 
lista dedicata a ubuntu, ne ho un installazione su disco esterno che 
praticamente non uso e non ho voglia di iscrivermi a una lista che 
praticamente non frequenterei. Tutto è nato da un mio desiderio di provare a 
far girare Linux su una macchina X86_64 (preconfigurato HP mediacenter...non 
mio!!!)...

Ho dato un occhiata al progetto prism64 e del resto non ho dovuto fare molto 
visto che i driver sono gia inclusi in linux, stessa cosa per il firmware. 
Evidenzio qui sotto l'errore che credo causi il mancato funzionamento di 
questo accrocco radio, perdonate la confusione nel log data dal PRINTK_TIME, 
ho dimenticato di disabilitarlo nel configurare il tutto, tra l altro non 
sono ancora riuscito a configurare nulla realmente, c'è troppo hardware per 
me nuovo che non riesco a gestire, ho fatto un paio di conf ma il pc manco si 
avviava, ho usato la conf ufficiale di un 2.6.15 che si trova in /boot.

PS. provato linux 2.6.15/2.6.17 - nada
