Aggiungo come info che l'owner e il gruppo a cui appartiene ethereal è
root e i permessi sono settati a 755.
Ma chi è l'utente che esegue ethereal? Non è detto che chi esegue
un'applicazione sia per forza l'owner..
Il dubbio che mi viene è che la mia scheda wireless (una lynksys che
funziona con ndiswrapper - e quindi i drivers windows) non permetta lo
sniff. Dico questo perchè altro software, p.es. kismet funzionano
con il
mio hardware.
Stai sniffando in modalità promiscua? In quel caso l'unico utente che
può farlo è root.
