wifi prism3 wlan-ng

ciao a tutti,
ho una scheda wireless b integrata nel portatile 
con chip prism3 attaccata non si sa perchè su usb...

iwconfig me la vede:

vado a settare l essid 
reborn:/home/fabio# iwconfig wlan0 essid fabiolan
Error for wireless request "Set ESSID" (8B1A) :
    SET failed on device wlan0 ; Operation not supported.



e ora?qualche consiglio?
