confermato che e' il Lilo - la scritta Lilo che compare all'inizio e'
fatta apposta per indicarti se tutto va bene e si compila
progressivamente con le fasi di boot:

a questo punto devi caricare il tutto con un dischetto di ripristino (o
un cd anche tipo Knoppix) e fare cio' che devi montando opportunamente
la partizione linux del tuo hd. Se vuoi sovrascrivere il MBR (dove
risiede il lilo) cancellandolo (cosa che mi e' capitata un sacco di
volte) puoi usare un cd di Winsozz98 (non ME-2000-XP) e dare il comando
MS-DOS format /mbr - non ti ripristina il linux, ma al prossimo avvio il
tuo hd lancia la partizione attiva (presumibilmente un Win) e almeno
quella riesci ad'usarla...
