firestarter log
Hi all
approfitto per salutare la lista a cui mi sono appena iscritto.
Ho un problema col reindirizzamento dei log di Firestarter.
Oltre a intasarmi /var/log/syslog e kern.log mi ha occupato tutte le
console virtuali. In pratica tty1-6 sono costantemente aggiornate dal log
di firestarter e non posso usarle.
Sulla ml di firestarter ho letto questo:
"You can change the file Firestarter reads from using either gconf-editor
or from the command line:
gconftool-2 --set --type string /apps/firestarter/client/system_log
/var/log/kern.info
Run the above as root.
It"s not possible to change the location where the messages are logged to
in the first place within the scope of Firestarter. That"s up to your
system log daemon configuration. The actual logging is performed by the
kernel."
Ho fatto così ma il problema rimane.
Qualcuno ha per caso risolto il problema?
PS: ho Sarge, con 2.6.8-1, gdm+wmaker
