Monitor, refresh ed errori
Salve,
nella speranza di riuscire ad andare con una risoluzione di 1280 x 1024 a
100hz (che e' quella che uso sotto Windows) ho provato due diverse strade:
xvidtune e la modifica manuale di XF86Config-4
Premetto che ho un monitor Philips 19 pollici 109P4 e una scheda video Ati
FireGL 8800, nel file XF86Config-4 ci sono i valori corretti (aggiunti da
me come da specifica del mio monitor) di "HorizSync" e "VertRefresh" e che
nonostante questo il refresh massimo a 1280 x 1024 e' sempre di 85hz.
1) xvidtune
Con questo programma cliccando il tasto "Taller" arriva fino al refrsh di
88.32hz e non di piu'.
2) Modifica manuale di XF86Config-4
Ho generato una modeline con
http://koala.ilog.fr/cgi-bin/nph-colas-modelines:
ModeLine "1280x1024" 191.21 1280 1336 1616 1728 1024 1026 1038 1064 #104Hz
ho inserito questa riga nel file XF86Config-4 e ho commentato tutte le
precedenti predefinite dall'installazione di Debian.
