Re: Samba problems

Rimane sempre il quesito "come ha fatto samba a rimuoversi dal mio Sarge"?

In ogni caso, dopo una nottata, ho rimosso i "pezzi" che erano rimasti.
Stamattina la situazione è questa:

root@Rospo:~# dpkg -l | grep samba
ii samba-common 3.0.6-3 Samba common files used by both the server
a

root@Rospo:~# dpkg -l samba
Desired=Unknown/Install/Remove/Purge/Hold
| Status=Not/Installed/Config-files/Unpacked/Failed-config/Half-installed
|/ Err?=(none)/Hold/Reinst-required/X=both-problems (Status,Err:
uppercase=bad)
||/ Name           Version        Description
+++-==============-==============-==========================================
==
pn samba <none> (no description available)

root@Rospo:~# dpkg --purge samba
dpkg - warning: ignoring request to remove samba which isn't installed.

e infine.......

root@Rospo:~# apt-get install samba

Package samba is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
However the following packages replace it:
  winbind smbclient samba-common
E: Package samba has no installation candidate
