devfs su sarge
Hi all,
ho installato ieri (da poco quindi, sono un neofita debian pentito red
hat) una versione sarge di Debian.
Provando oggi a configurarla ottengo numerosi errori che sembrano essere
collegati a devfs, del tipo:
debconf: unable to initialize frontend: Gnome
debconf: (DISPLAY problem?)
debconf: falling back to frontend: Dialog
Starting No Flush Daemon: Error: Your kernel is configured with devfs,
but devfs is not
mounted anywhere. This means noflushd cannot work.
Avevo anche errori su libgnome2-perl, ma provando a installare ottengo
sempre:
...perl: warning: Falling back to the standard locale ("C").

il man su noflush mi dice che:

When running a devfs-enabled kernel, noflushd won't work unless devfs is
mounted. Devfs need not
be used, or mounted on /dev, but it needs to be mounted
somewhere. That's because the kernel
exposes different device names in /proc/partitions, depending
whether devfs is compiled in or
not.

Come faccio a montare (o smontare se non ce ne fosse bisogno questo
benedetto devfs?
