difficile che questi messaggi te li dia APM... Probabilmente non hai
compliato correttamente il kernel quando hai provato apm.
Hai provato anche l'opzione "Relaxed AML" nella configurazione acpi?
Per il problema acpi comunque dovresti provare a scrivere su
<acpi-devel@lists.sourceforge.net> fornendo piu' informazioni possibile.
Non mi ricordo se sia obbligatoria l'iscrizione, trovi tutto su
acpi.sf.net e www.sf.net/projects/acpi
