cdparanoia da utente non privilegiato

cdparanoia lanciato da utente non privilegiato non riesce ad accedere al
lettore cd (ATAPI in emulazione SCSI), mentre da root non ho problemi.
L'output di cdparanoia è il seguente:

/dev/cdrom exists but isn't accessible.  By default,
cdparanoia stops searching for an accessible drive here.
Consider using -sv to force a more complete autosense
of the machine.

Tranne cdparanoia, tutti gli altri programmi che utilizzano il lettore
CD, sia audio che dati, funzionano egregiamente da utente normale.
