Ciao,
dopo avere aggiornato da woody a testing parecchie applicazioni si lamentano
per i font, ad esempio:
kevin@debian:~$ xvidtune 
Vendor: , Model: 
Num hsync: 1, Num vsync: 1
hsync range 0:  28.00 -  50.00
vsync range 0:  43.00 - 100.00
Warning: Unable to load any usable ISO8859 font
Warning: Missing charsets in String to FontSet conversion
Warning: Unable to load any usable fontset
Segmentation fault

oppure Firebird con questi messaggi:
The font
"-*-*-medium-r-*-*-16-*-*-*-*-*-*-*,-*-*-*-r-*-*-16-*-*-*-*-*-*-*,-*-*-*-*-*-*-16-*-*-*-*-*-*-*"
does not support all the required character sets for the current locale "C"
  (Missing character set "ISO8859-1")

ho installato parecchi pacchetti .deb xfonts*, fatto qualche volta il
dpg-reconfigure locales impostando US, it_IT, it_IT@EURO, C anche da soli,
ma senza risolvere alcun problema...
Qualche suggerimento ?
