Hai ragione, mi ricordavo male, l'errore "esatto" è questo:

Questa versione di Windows non funziona con MS-DOS versione 7.00 o precedenti.
Wine exited with a successful status

Il punto è che il pacchetto libfreetype6 è installato. 
Qualche idea?
