Io ho usato una entry così:
deb ftp://download.uk.kde.org/pub/kde/stable/3.0.4/Debian/ woody/
in questo modo ti accorgerai che apt-get update va a buon fine, ma se provi
ad installare qualcosa non riesce a trovare nessun file.
Ho provato a guardare il packages.gz ed ho riscontrato che nella "location"
dei file .deb viene specificato il percorso:
./i386/XXX/XXX.deb. Quindi se la directory di lavoro è
ftp://download.uk.kde.org/pub/kde/stable/3.0.4/Debian/ allora apt si aspetta
di trovare la directory i386 sotto:
ftp://download.uk.kde.org/pub/kde/stable/3.0.4/Debian/ e non sotto :
ftp://download.uk.kde.org/pub/kde/stable/3.0.4/Debian/woody/ dove invece
effettivamente si trova.
a questo punto ho tagliato la testa al toro, ho tirato giu tutto con wget
creato una directory debkde3 nella mia home e ci ho spostato la cartella
woody/ con il suo contenuto tranne la i386, ed ho spostato i386 sempre in
debkde3 (quindi allo stesso livello di woody) a questo punto la entry in
sources.list è diventata:
deb file:/home/XXX/debkde3/ woody/ ed il mio portatile stà finalmente
godendo della bellezza del kde3!!
