ide-scsi error

qualcuno saprebbe spiegarmi il significato di questo:

porco-volante:~# cdrecord -scanbus
...

con la precedente installazione non mi capitava, e in /etc/lilo.con ho messo
append="hda=ide-scsi" (dado che ho l'HD su hde)

non capisco cosa non vada...
