Dvd e pinguini (lunga)
Salve a tutti,
ho svariati problemi derivanti dal fatto che vorrei vedere i dvd a schermo intero sotto il pinguino. Il mio computer è un portatile compaq 1800 xl 186 con processore pentium III 600 128 ram scheda video ati rage mobility 8M , utilizzo debian woody con xfree 4.1 . Ho provato queste soluzioni:
1- Mplayer funziona ma se provo a schermo intero (-vop scale=1024:768) il inizia a "saltare" sia l'audio che il video, inoltre il programma non supporta molto bene i menù.
2- Ogle supporta bene i menù ma sia l'audio che il video "saltano" durante la normale riporduzione.
Ho quindi deciso di installare i driver più specifici e leggendo in giro ho capito (spero bene) che dovevo scaricarmi i driver ati.2 da http://gatos.sourceforge.net/ , scompattarli in una directory e successivamente aggiungere la path a XF86Config. Inoltre dovevo aggiungere load glx, dri e dbe. Dovevo anche cambiare nella sezione "Screen" Driver "Accel" con "r128". Ok, faccio tutto, riavvio x ma niente... mi dice che non riconosce il driver r128... e non mi carica nemmeno glx, dri e dbe. Inoltre se eseguo glxinfo ottengo:
