le righe:
SubSection "Display"

Modes "640x480"
EndSubSection
dovrebbe partire. Comunque, come gia' consogliatoti, e' decisamente
preferibile, sempre che sia possibile, configurare un driver piu' adatto
per la tua scheda video.
