jigdo?

Qualcuno ha scritto qualche appunto leggibile (esempi) su come scaricare 
files usando jigdo? Io, l'unica cosa che ho trovato sul sito Debian e' che: 

  People who want to download the image do so by telling the jigdo(1) (NOT    
  IMPLEMENTED YET)

da cui sembra che, in effetti, jigdo NON esista ancora per l'utente. 
Mi sbaglio?
