Il vero nome del pc sta in /etc/hostname e non in /etc/hosts, nel senso
che nel secondo c'e' per un motivo diverso.
Guardati le man page , per capire meglio l'utilizzo dei due
file, indipendentemente dall'estetica in questo caso. :)
Ad esempio:
hosts (5) - The static table lookup for host names
