Either reply on list or pm me. I just want to get a general idea.
Hi Ryan. This came up on a Debian list only a couple of weeks ago.
I'm Australian and here are my thoughts:
* I oppose the filter from a civil liberties standpoint. A common
rallying cry for supporting the filter is "think of the children".
I am thinking of the children as I don't them growing up in a world where
the govt can keep secrets lists of what the public are allowed to see.
* I oppose it from a technical point of view. It will be trivial to
circumvent and yet may well slow end-user Internet access.
Cheers,
Rob
