Dear User Group: Does anybody know how common it is for commercial SMTP E-Mail providers to require DIGEST-MD5 authentication and not permit CRAM-MD5 authentication ? Also, how quickly are providers adopting DIGEST-MD5 and is there a geographical pattern to its adoption ?
