I have recently build a Proliant DL360G5 with Etch without problems.

Now, DL320 servers are not SCSI/SAS and will probably cause more problems.
As you can see in the compatibility matrix :

DL320G5 are supported with Etch.
If you want hardware RAID, you can add an additional HBA SCSI card and use SAS 
drives.
To keep the garranty, you'll have to buy a HP SmartArray card.
