Thanks for your answer, but my problem is in the different character
sets used. And this is what was changed between 4.0 and 4.1, so it
doesn't matter if I upgrade to 4.1 or 5.0.
The question is how to migrate the data without requiring each
customer to define in which encoding they have their database.
