All I'm getting is the > "out of date version" warning. It turns out is was a central apache proxy cache issue. The cache was corrupted and very large (gigs). Clearing the cache and restarting the proxy solved the issue. freshclam uses the proxy for it's updates. All is well now, thanks however for the feedback. -Jim P.
