Online Capacity Expansion or adding drives to already defined arrays to
increase capacity.
The 3ware cards will do this AFAIK, as will the Areca ones, but I'm not
sure how the underlying driver and OS handles it having never tried it.
My advice would be to try it before you put the machine in to operation
(like I keep meaning to do ;-)
