In my own experience, the last version of ispconfig had a big security
hole imho.
All site made with the ispconfig panel is inside /var/www and is
www-data owned. This mean when a phpbb or a php application (or cgi ...)
 is compromise it can take the control of the website by changing the
link on the directory or deleting the directory.
So it's clear for me to don't use this in production or don't use it
"tout court".
(Sorry if i don't understand something to the user/right on files from
the ispconfig architecture and make a mistake)
