Re: Why should I use Cyrus?



I can give you reasons not to use Cyrus.

Last time I tested it the mailboxes that got corrupted
required the cyrus daemon to be shut off to fix. 

If that is still the case, that makes cyrus less hardy
than something that uses standard Maildirs.

Look at CourierIMAP and DoveCot.

Both use the Maildir format.
