maildrop and mysql, temporary failure. Command output: maildrop: signal 0x0B



This was working before the latest update to maildrop.

apt-get source maildrop

edit the rules file to add mysql support.

...
--enable-sendmail=/usr/sbin/sendmail --enable-maildirquota --enable-maildropmysql
...

then
$ dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot -uc -b

and install the resulting .deb

However, now my logs are full of "temporary failure. Command output: maildrop: signal 0x0B" errors, as is the mailq
No mail is being delivered.

# maildrop -v
maildrop 1.5.3 Copyright 1998-2003 Double Precision, Inc.
GDBM extensions enabled.
Maildir quota extension enabled.
Virtual user database via MySQL extension enabled.
