Sure.

How exactly you would go and do that, would heavily depend on how the
"odd mailbox" is defined, and how you would want to deliver them
locally. IIRC, in that thread I suggested a Maildir layout that did not
necessarily need a user in /etc/passwd for every user in the mail
system; if that is what you want, you'll need to massage stephen's
router slightly to allow for deliveries like

abuse: /var/spool/mail/domainB/Maildir/

to work. If you want something else entirely, I'm afraid you'll have to
specify what exactly it is you're looking for.
