I run Debian/unstable on a DL 360G3 machine.
First I ran the Compaq Linux-setup diskette to setup server for
Linux-usage.
Installation was quite boring (the diskette way). I added a 3c905 nic to
the server cause the internal gig-nics driver was in a separate package.
Raid-controller driver is included in the bf install-disks.

After base-installation was finished i installed the RPM package and
extract the Compaq Proliant supportfiles
(snmp, fan control, raid-watchdog etc) to some directory and
install the binaries by hand. Some work with libraries and stuff was
also done to get everything working.
Server's been up for 186 days now and is stable as a rock. It runs a
quite large qmail-farm.
