dial on demand and masquerade

Hello,
     I nead  to set up a machine that works as a gateway for the local
     network and when sens that somebody wants to connect to the
     internet to dial out and establish a connection.
     Then after a latency time to disconect.

     Can somebody give my some points or point me a tutorial ?
